1UglyFTP is designed to transfer any type of files from any of the web servers over the Internet. Allows ftp scheduling and bulky file transfers. Supports Server to server transfer. Its high performance, ruff-n-tuff and yet easy to use interface are ideal for new users and the full-featured menu is available for advanced users. You can leave it unattended and if the connection breaks, this application will automatically reconnect and resume the upload, thus saving your precious time. It works with a variety of connections and also supports proxy server, socket4, socket4A and socket5.
It makes transferring files on the Internet simple. With the familiar windows graphical user interface (GUI) it allows uploading and downloading multiple files with a single command generating multiple threads for file transfer. You can download such gigantic files to your local machine, upload them to the remote server, edit your files online, delete or rename them. 1UglyFTP balances the load/throughput ratio by dynamically generating the ftp threads for multiple file transference.
Other key features include remote site management with Site Manager, local file management with Local Listings, thread controlling with Thread Panel, overall progress of file transference with Working Queue, color scheme customizations, and voice indications. Its Drag and Drop facility provides the user a clean, easy to use and controlled environment for file transfers. Its side-by-side views allow you to use it with simple file management both locally and remotely. The graphical interface is natural to Windows users, which makes transferring files via FTP easy. 1UglyFTP also supports directory manipulations. You can upload full directory structure, download it, delete or rename it on the FTP-server. Its caching feature stores already visited directories for next time viewing, thus eliminating the need for downloading the huge lists of bulky files again.
