Bookmark Buddy is an intuitive favorites organizer and login manager in one. As a bookmark manager it offers several ways to retrieve bookmarks, a straightforward filing system, bookmark checking, privacy features and more. As a login manager it can fill out a log-in form with a single keystroke.
If you find it quicker to search for a site on Google than to look through your bookmarks, you will appreciate the different ways Bookmark Buddy lets you quickly retrieve a bookmark:
- Virtually instantaneous full-text searching, with options to refine and filter results by date, rating and site status.
- Three clicks: category, subcategory, bookmark.
- SmartFolders: links to bookmarks you are most likely to want automatically maintained in one place.
- Scheduling: set up one-off or regular visits with the built-in scheduler.
Bookmark Buddy lets you add notes and keywords to each bookmark, and lets you file a bookmark in more than one place (invisibly aliased rather then copied).
Bookmark Buddy can store all your site log-ins and encrypt the passwords so that only one password is needed to retrieve any log-in. It can fill out web and dialog log-in forms with a single keystroke.
For complete privacy you can encrypt your entire bookmark collection: web addresses, notes, log-in details, the lot.
Web sites change, move and disappear, but bookmarks do not know about it. Bookmark Buddy can quickly check the status of thousands of bookmarks in the background.
Bookmark Buddy can manage multiple collections of bookmarks (great for family users) and very large collections (great for serious web surfers and researchers) and it lets you share bookmark collections (great for networked users).
You can export your bookmarks to a printable document, web page, spreadsheet, XML and most browser formats.
Bookmark Buddy works with any web browser and includes import support for Internet Explorer, Netscape/Mozilla, MSN, Opera, Yahoo Toolbar, AOL and CompuServe 2000.
