MM Player greatly simplifies managing all your myriad media files and Compact Discs. It introduces powerful, customizable Play Lists allowing you to listen to hours of endless music while working in other applications.
MM Player makes it easy for you to add your favorite songs to Play Lists. You can either play your songs in the order you decide or randomly.
You can have as many Play Lists open as you like. They can either be docked to the main window or even float on your desktop.
MM Player is completely centered around Play Lists. For example, the integrated file browser, which looks just like the familiar Windows Explorer, can also function as a Play List. That is, you can browse to any folder on your hard drive, turn on the Auto Play feature and play the items in the folder as though it were a Play List!
MM Player uses one of the most advanced playback engines available ensuring that your sound and video files sound and display as the author intended.
If possible, MM Player uses hardware acceleration to produce smooth, flicker-free video and crisp sound.
MM Player is also a full-featured CD player. You don't even have to enter the track names yourself, you can download this information from the Internet!
Support for the MP3 file format is solid. If your MP3 files contain information such as the name of the artist or title of the album it will be displayed in sortable columns in your Play Lists, making it easy to find exactly what you want.
You can easily compose Play Lists to listen to while you work. MM Player can even scan your entire hard drive for media items.
You can hide the main window and replace it with a small window which floats on top of other programs such as your word processor. You can control playback using this window and even quickly refine your Play Lists without having to open the main window.
