PolyEdit is both a word processor and a plain text editor, that is designed to provide the power and functionality to satisfy the most demanding word processing requirements. PolyEdit supports multiple document formats and encodings: RTF, ETF, MS Word 6.0/95/97/2000/XP, MS Excel, MS Write, WordPerfect, Lotus 1-2-3, OEM (DOS), ANSI (WIN), Unicode, UTF-8, Mac, Unix, etc. It also has the ability to compress and encrypt your documents for total security. All the expected functions are featured, including the usual text formatting tools, print preview, tables, columns, templates, spell checking, syntax highlighting and the ability to load graphics, media clips, PowerPoint slides, graphs and much more. Various plug-ins for adding extra functionality are available as well. PolyEdit offers an enormous variety of other tools and features that the list above shows only a small part of what this editor can do.
