ZMover gives you control of your desktop layout by allowing you to set the size, position, and layering of application windows. You can define window positions on-the-fly or give ZMover a list of windows to remember. When these windows appear, ZMover will automatically position them for you.
As a personal productivity tool, ZMover can help you work more efficiently. For example, you may want to use the calculator applet while editing a report in a word processor program. If you use them simultaneously, it can be a hassle to keep switching back and forth between the two applications. With ZMover, you can keep the calculator on top of your word processor so you always have quick access to it.
Since all of the information is stored in a small data file, it's easy to use one machine to define a layout that will be propagated to other computers in a lab or data processing center.
