Описание:
A&M Instant Messenger is a powerful instant messaging system that supports Instant Popup Messages, Chat, System Information, Remote Control etc.
It is designed to be used with a Windows NT Domain for optimal operation, but will also work on
Novell networks with a TCP/IP Stack (no automatic grouping) or over the internet.
We recommend that it be used inside of a secure corporate LAN/WAN environment.
Our instant messenger is server based, and does not rely on any type of broadcasts to work(UDP,Multicast etc)
Other instant messengers on the market use broadcasts which can degrade performance in certain situations.
The server is used only for keeping track of the users, all messages, file sends etc are done Peer to Peer. When you send a message, it goes directly to that user, the server is not involved in sending messages at all (except for the server broadcast option).
A straight-forward and easy-to-use interface
The client user interface has a Microsoft Outlook look and feel, and an easy to use Directory Tree.
