Welcome to Accelerweb! Accelerweb is the latest in simple Internet acceleration technology. Accelerweb caches DNS settings to the hosts file. Each time you type a domain name (such as roadside-software.com), a request must be sent to a DNS server requesting the IP address for that domain name (an IP address is a 12 digit code for the server). These requests take time to complete. Accelerweb will store this information in a local cache called the "Hosts" file. This will reduce the time required for a site to download! Accelerweb is easy to use! It requires no computer knowledge and can run entirely in the background. Accelerweb is designed to function with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
