Archive Search is a nice utility you can use to easily search for files inside compressed archives. Archive Search features: 1) Supports most important formats used on the PC including: zip, lzh, ace, arj, arc, rar, cab, zoo. 2) Fast search of files. 3) Multiple file searches & on multiple directories in a single search. 4) Display of other useful info about a matching entry like file size (as in archive) and complete path if available. 5) Matched archives can be launched from the program itself. 6) Normal files & directories can be included in search.
You know your file exists on the disk but can not find it with normal Windows find and you suspect it is inside one of those many compressed archive you have. Archive Search can find it in seconds. Archive Search is simple to use and doesn't need a rocket scientist to master it.
