The Astra R-Nesting software is designed for automatic nesting of sheet materials and can be used for nesting wood chipboard, metal, glass, plastic materials etc.
The Astra R-Nesting software provides input and filing of information about orders and materials, automatic and interactive generation of nesting plans, calculation, filing and registration of utilizable rests, nesting plans and specifications printing-out.
During input of data about parts and materials, their quantity, dimensions, thickness, fiber direction and type of material are to be indicated.
The software allows creating a library of standard articles and using it further when generating orders.
For parts and articles, edges to be glued over can be indicated.
Automatic nesting is carried out taking into consideration technological and organizational parameters of production. Variable parameters allow setting: width of cut, edging, through cuts, type of nesting, minimum space between saws, etc.
For manual formatting of nesting plans there exists a number of functions for quick and accurate editing: arrangement of parts within a cut width, aligning, shifting, etc, at that performed commands can be cancelled, which returns nesting plans to the previous state, and also scaling of document windows.
Calculation of rests can be done both automatically and in a dialog mode.
For each nesting plan a set of technological documentation is formed - a plan and specification, including necessary information for manufacturing parts and control of carried out works.
The software provides analytic functions as for materials purchase planning .
The Astra R-Nesting software supports a conception of interaction with other systems.
