Axialis IconWorkshop (formerly AX-Icons) is a powerful tool designed to Create, Extract, Convert, Manage and Redistribute Windows® Icons.
You can create, load and save all Windows® Icons (ICO) and Libraries (ICL). It supports the new Windows XP Icons with Alpha Channel images (a.k.a. Smooth Transparency). Also, you'll be able to open Macintosh® Icons and convert them to Windows® format.
Numerous features are available: Fully integrated in one workspace (all the features are accessible at any time). A built-in explorer with thumbnail preview to browse your disks, find images and files containing icons. A built-in Librarian helps you to work efficiently with your icons and libraries. An image loader/viewer permits to create icons from pictures in one click! A compilation Wizard helps you create redistribuable installation packages of your icon libraries (with activation codes if needed). It reads Macintosh® icons from 16x16 mono to OS-X 128x128 alpha channel thumbnail format. Imports/Exports Adobe® Photoshop® PSD images with layers. Imports/Exports PNG and BMP with transparency alpha channel. Contains several image filters (blur, smooth, sharpen, details, contour, emboss...), image adjustments (Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast...) and tools (Resize, Rotation at any angle, flip, XP drop shadow...). An enhanced color swatch/palette management system compatible with Adobe® and Jasc® color files. A feature permits you to customize Windows® icons and more...
