FotoVac is a simple-to-use newsgroup scanner that finds and stores the images you want from Internet newsgroups. Just select the newsgroups that interest you and FotoVac's mass downloader will do the rest. This automatic image downloader lets you customize your newsgroup search, refine your search to suit your preferences by selecting the newsgroups that interest you, and scan or filter by keywords or author and message length. Get the pictures you want from newsgroups without having to spend your own time searching for them.
Your downloaded pictures can be browsed quickly as size-adjustable thumbnails and viewed the way you want as full-screen, over-sized, or reduced images. Set FotoVac to scan newsgroups at certain intervals, to check for duplicates automatically, run invisibly in the background, ignore non-image files, and much more.
FotoVac supports 9 popular image formats including, BMP, EMF, JIF, JPEG, PLX, PNG, TGA, TIFF, and WMF. When installed with ACDSee 3.1 or ACDSee 3.1 PowerPack, FotoVac supports over 35 image formats.
