GiPo@DB_Utilities is the set of utilities for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
These utilities provide an easy way to work with different OLEDB-compatible databases and data sources such as Microsoft SQL Server 7.0/2000, Oracle DBMS, Informix, DB2, Microsoft Access, dBase, Paradox, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro and many others databases that have OLEDB providers.
The GiPo@DB_Utilities contains the following components:
1) GiPo@DBExplorer - the Windows Explorer-like program that can be used for the database visual navigation;
2) GiPo@DBConsole - the program that can execute SQL Queries and display their results as a plain text.
The GiPo@DBExplorer allows the working with a database in the Windows Explorer-like way. It provides the data tree, the data list, and the SQL query window. You can open a database and explore data structure without any problems. Also you can view LONG TEXT and BLOB fields in the special BLOB-preview window.
The GiPo@DBConsole can be used for the executing SQL queries and displaying query results as a plain text. Software can be integrated in to the OS shell.
