Globex is an extremely useful tool for today's global economy. Do you ever need to know how many Canadian dollars are in one Euro? Or maybe you need to find out what time it is in Tokyo?
Globex is a suite of integrated applications including: a "Currency Exchanger", a "World Clock", a "Measurement Converter", a "Country Info Browser", and a "Currency Info Browser".
The built-in "Currency Exchanger" enables you to convert amounts of money from a country's currency into another country's currency. Globex's built-in "World Clock" displays the time in major cities from around the world. Globex takes into consideration DST (daylight savings time) adjustments for time zones that observe DST.
The "Measurement Converter", allows you to convert between different units of measurement (metric, US, Imperial English), from 5 categories (length, weight, area, volume, and temperature). The "Country Info Browser" included, shows country telephone prefixes, e-mail suffixes, and various other ISO codes for any country in the world.
The latest currency exchange rates can be updated automatically from the Internet at the user's request. Globex has been awarded 5 stars on the Tucows site, and at other sites.
The registered version includes all currencies (over 160), all countries (over 230), and over 260 cities. The software has support for the following languages: English and French.

Дошли до городка слухи, что скоро будет война. Опасаясь
за свое добро, люди прежде всего подумали о колоколах на рату-
ше -- как бы их не сняли, чтобы на пушки перелить. Посовещались
и порешили утопить колокола в озере, а когда война окончится,
снова их со дна озера поднять и повесить на место. Погрузили ко-
локола на большую ладью, выехали на середину озера, но тут один
закричал:
-- Стойте, братцы! А как же мы место это найдем?
-- Мне бы твои заботы! -- ответил городской голова. Встал
и сделал зарубку на борту ладьи,-- Вот, где я зарубку зарубил, здесь
мы их и найдем.
На том и порешили, столкнули колокола в воду. А через
год, когда беда миновала, они опять сели в ладью и поплыли ко-
локола со дна поднимать. Зарубку на борту нашли, а колоколов не
смогли отыскать...
