Idex is a complete multimedia database and webpublishing solution.
Use Idex to take control of all the files on your hard drive. Text, documents, images, audio and video files - Idex supports all major file formats. Put them into a database and add Keywords, text searches and a three level hierarchical search to make them easy to locate in future. Idex builds thumbnail images automatically, and you can even add weblinks to each item.
Then use the Idex plug-ins Pagebuilder and Webpublisher to publish your Idex databases to the web with just a few clicks of a mouse.
Idex Webpublisher creates dynamic webpages accessed with a standard browser directly from the Idex database, without need for any additional HTML coding. All the search characteristics specified in the offline database are retained, allowing users to search by keyword, text or a 3 level hierarchical search.
Idex Webpublisher comes with an easy way to link the pages to a shopping cart to create an instant E-commerce solution. It also includes its own FTP client to make transferring your pages to a webserver a breeze.
Use Idex to create online photo albums, image libraries, document archives and product catalogs.
