Music Express is a fast full-featured application for organizing and managing large collections of Audio CDs and music downloaded from Internet, which lets users search, rename and organize files on disks, search for duplicates, print file lists and CD covers.
The program will extract and save full information about disks and files while automatically grouping them. All the tools for managing a collection have been made into one interface. The Groups window gives a convenient view by automatically categorizing files into albums, artists, years and other such criteria. A customized search function enables you to find files in seconds and determine on which disk is the required file is located on. The Duplicates window generates a list of duplicate files and allows you to delete them, saving space on your disk. A list can be printed or exported to hypertext (html file) or as a table. The Playlist basket makes creating playlists with Drag&Drop easy and allows a centralized storing. With the quick filter, it’s easy to sift out unneeded information in any window.
Music Express has a row of time-savings solutions. The batch scanning function for CD/DVD has been speeded up allowing more discs to the collection. File organization is simpler with just two mouse clicks necessary to clearly rename the files. An added function helps to extract additional information about files (track title, artist and album names) from filenames or special Internet databases (Freedb). The program supports Drag&Drop and files can be organized manually.
Music Express supports Audio CDs and all known formats of audio: MP3, WMA, OGG Vorbis, APE Monkey, AAC MPEG-4, VQF TvinVQ, and many other.
