Proximat VoyagerPlus is the most exciting and fun way to browse the Internet and work with your Microsoft Office Documents. If you've never used a Tabbed Browser before, you'll soon find that using a tabbed browser allows you to surf, search and work many times faster than a single window browser.
Proximat VoyagerPlus is filled with special features such as Popup Window Blocking and Advanced Integrated Search with Google.
The Proximat VoyagerPlus interface boasts a tabbed Dialog approach to Internet browsing. At the top of the Voyager screen are 30 tabs that allow the user to have 30 windows open simultaneously.
Each of these windows can load a web site or a Microsoft Office Document such as Word or Excel.
When the program starts, it opens a file called 'Setup.set' (located in the program installation path) which contains the names of up to 30 locations or file names to load. These pages instantly load giving the user up to 30 'home pages'. Setups can be easily loaded, changed and saved. The program comes with a number of 'Collections' such as News, Travel and Health News. An unlimited number of setups can be saved providing far more flexibility than simple Favorites.
Proximat VoyagerPlus is an Internet Explorer add-in. It uses the same files and support files used by Internet Explorer. Favorites and settings are accessible in both VoyagerPlus and Internet Explorer.
The same familiar Internet Explorer keyboard short-cuts are available with a few exceptions that are not relevant to the Voyager Interface.
Proximat VoyagerPlus requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher to be installed on your machine. To update to IE 5.5 or higher simply navigate to http://www.microsoft.com/IE
