POP3 Pal is a mail client for people on the move. It provides an easy way to access your POP3 mail from any Windows-based PC. It can also be used for mailbox maintenance - for example, to delete an unwanted large message that is blocking access to your other email.
POP3 Pal lets you read and reply to mail directly from your POP3 server. It supports unlimited accounts or profiles, so you can check your mail on any number of POP3 mailboxes. A "Check All" option lets you see at a glance which of your accounts have waiting messages. The optional spam check shows you messages that are likely to be spam. You can delete all the messages marked as spam with a couple of mouse clicks.
POP3 Pal Message Composer lets you reply to messages and send new mail using an available SMTP relay host. Copies can be sent to your POP3 server so that you retain the complete "thread" of correspondence when you download the messages into your usual mail client back home..
POP3 Pal has many special features that are rare or unique in this class of software:
supports HTML formatting (for received and sent mail);
supports attachments, including inline images;
spam checking option;
integrated address book;
supports POP3 APOP and SMTP authentication;
all settings stored on a portable .INI file;
small enough to fit on a floppy.
You can try POP3 Pal free of charge. In evaluation mode its use is restricted to a single POP3 account (profile) and every message you create carries a small advertisement. Registration provides unlimited accounts and removes the advertisement.
