MarshallSoft Xbase++ serial communication component library (DLL) for serial port communications. Uses the standard Windows API to communicate with any device connected to a serial port. Includes 32 functions plus modem control, ANSI emulation, ASCII/XMODEM/YMODEM protocols, hardware and software flow control, and multiple PowerBASIC Xbase++ example programs. The Windows Serial Communications Library (WSC4XB) features include: * Can control any serial device connected to the serial port. * Can be used from GUI mode or console mode programs. * Can control multiple ports simultaneously. * Is fully thread safe. * Is port re-entrant. * State driven Xmodem and Ymodem on multiple ports simultaneously. * Can send Windows messages on completion of events (incoming character, etc.) * Includes 16-bit (WSC16.DLL) and 32-bit (WSC32.DLL) versions. * Works with all versions of Xbase++. * Does not depend on support libraries. Makes calls to Windows API functions only. Can also use with C/C++, Visual C++, .NET, Visual Basic (VB.NET), Visual FoxPro, Delphi, PowerBASIC, Visual dBase, and COBOL. * Free technical support and updates for one year. * Can be ordered with or without source code for the DLL. * Programmer's, Reference, Users and Serial Comm Manuals provided.
